We love what we do - and we want to share our passion with you in your Fitness journey - whichever stage you're at


Jules

Hey! I’m Jules! I am the co-owner of KinFix Health + Fitness and fitness lead. I have been a fitness lover and entrepreneur at heart my whole life so I am so excited to marry the two together. To create a space for our community to come together to get a killer workout and leave feeling bad ass and ready to take on whatever life has to offer! 

My love for fitness started young growing up playing sports and my Mum had a pilates studio in our house so I would spend all of my free time there. I studied at Dalhousie getting a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, got my yoga teacher training and pilates instructor certification. I have been working as a personal trainer doing 1-on-1 training as well as group classes for the last 5 years. I am so excited for this next challenge and adventure. 

When I am not at the studio you can catch me walking our dog Marty, catching up on all of my favourite reality TV shows or checking out all of the amazing things Halifax has to offer! 

When you come to my class, prepare to be challenged, to laugh and to leave feeling energized. 

My favourite exercise is BURPEE because they are hard af, my favourite yoga pose is restorative reclined fish because #balance 


Teaches: Flow, HIIT Pilates, Strength + circuit classes

Carlie

Hello!

 My name is Carlie and I am a firefighter, entrepreneur, foodie, and fitness lover.



 You can most often find me frantically looking for my keys, or planning my next adventure.

My passion for movement developed from a young age, being involved in many sports growing up and eventually focusing on soccer. However it’s after attending Fire School that my fitness journey truly began - developing strength and endurance was crucial to achieving my dream career. 

Let’s level up together by creating a space where personal growth is celebrated and connections are made through sweat, laughter, and good music. 

Currently, my favourite exercise are pull-ups because they make me feel BEAST MODE.

Annika

Hi! My name is Annika! 

For those who don't know me already, I’m Juliana’s proud sister! 

When I’m not teaching classes, I’m working at different vet hospitals or wildlife centres, loving on my gang of animals at our farm, gardening, traveling, or just frolicking around in nature. My partner and I have a hobby farm and animal sanctuary in Shubenacadie called Wild Haven! 

Music and especially heavy emotional beats are a huge component of my day to day, which will be reflected in my classes! 

Fitness has always been a large part of my life, all the way back to growing up in competitive sports. Now, with a busy schedule, movement has become an important anchor for my mental health. Sweat is therapy! 

I’ve always been my sister’s biggest fan, especially in her group fitness classes. The community she creates wherever she goes is what inspires me. So, for anyone who has taken her classes (and maybe you’re only taking mine because hers is sold out - no offence, totally understand) mine are very heavily inspired by hers. So you may be in for a treat!

Jessa

Hi! My name is Jessa and I am a certified yoga instructor based in Halifax! 

After completing my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in the fall of 2020, I quickly made the switch from the service industry to a full time instructor and never looked back! Throughout my journey, I have also completed my Trauma informed Teacher Training with Blu Matter Project and a 40 hr course in Kundalini Yoga. My classes are designed for all levels with opportunity for breathwork technique, mindfulness and meditation. You can also expect strength and relaxation to be integrated equally throughout my practice. I am so excited to guide you and share this space with you here at KinFix! 

When I am not at the studio teaching, you can find me checking out all of the beautiful hikes that Nova Scotia has to offer with my two dogs, or hitting up a local patio!
